Hi, I'm Jarryd — a product design lead with 10+ years shaping products across healthcare, fintech, energy, and government.

I specialise in making sense of ambiguous problems, guiding teams from early discovery through to shipped outcomes, and staying hands-on with the work throughout. I bring structure where it's needed without slowing things down.

• Design Leadership

  Leading and supporting small design teams while staying close to the work. Working with founders and executive leaders to turn early ideas into clear problems, then guiding teams to a result.

• Discovery & Sense-Making

  Structured discovery, prioritisation, and sequencing when the problem isn't clear yet. Turning high-level direction into concrete design work, with lightweight process that keeps focus and cuts down on rework.

• Hands-On Product Design

  Design from early exploration through to shipped product. User research, prototyping, design systems, and a close understanding of user workflows, particularly in clinical and healthcare settings. I also use AI tools like Claude Code to prototype and build functional products in days rather than weeks.

I've spent the last decade working across product and design — from global consultancies like Accenture and Cognizant to high-growth startups building from zero to one.

I'm at my best when I'm close to the work: working through ambiguous problems with founders, running discovery, and designing alongside the team. I bring structure where it's needed and stay out of the way where it's not.

Recently I've been deep in healthcare — designing clinical AI systems, mapping clinician workflows, and building products that reduce admin burden so practitioners can focus on patients. I also prototype and build with AI tools like Claude Code, which lets me ship functional products in days instead of weeks.
